Holly Jansen is a landscape photographer and photography instructor based in Ventura County, California. 

Hi and Welcome!

My name is Holly Jansen and I'm a landscape and wildlife photographer, educator, and workshop leader based in Ventura County, California. For decades, I've explored some of North America and Iceland's most inspiring wild places including the misty redwood forests of California and the rugged Pacific coastline to the mountains, deserts, and wildlife-rich landscapes of Alaska and beyond.

My photography is drawn to moments of beautiful light, atmosphere, and connection whether it's a glowing tree deep within a forest, waves dancing along a shoreline, or a quiet encounter with wildlife. Through my images, I hope to share the sense of awe, peace, and appreciation for nature that these places inspire.

When I'm not behind the camera, I enjoy helping photographers grow their skills and confidence through private mentoring, workshops, and online classes. Nothing brings me greater joy than helping others see the beauty around them, create meaningful photographs, and deepen their connection to the natural world. 

Beyond teaching, I also offer fine art prints through my online gallery and regularly exhibit my work in galleries throughout Ventura County, California.
